First night – no sleep
Nadine and me took the sofa, in our cabin, which turned out to be not build for a person of my figure. Pain! I got up early and decided to swim a couple of rounds in the pool. Anette joined me and after a enjoyable brakfast buffet, we tried our luck at the harbor again. This time we were allowed to board, but there was a problem with some winch and so we left Hirtshals one our after schedule.
At 5pm we reached Slarvik, and had to find a place for the night. At Gasodden we found a lovely camping site with a free cabin for us, right by a fjord. After dropping off our luggage, Koeby and I put on our swimming shorts – still wet from the pool, yeaaak! – and went to a small beach nearby. The water was way too cold for swimming, but I none the less managed to get wet all over. Plenty of sun and no clouds, temperatures at about 20 degree celcius rendered the bad weather forecast (I checked on the net) completely wrong.
Back at our cabin, we drank some wine and talked for a while. In the bed, later, I was just about to fall asleep, as the damn thing broke, and I had to take the sofa once again, anxious that it will completly fall appart and me crushing Nadine right below me. She got the lower deck, ay!
