It’s a good thing the internet exists. How else would one match a name like that to a bird like this? Wikipedia calls it an Asian songbird—and indeed, it sang beautifully—which is how I was able to quickly spot it and its companions. Somehow, with its speckled plumage and that “just-rolled-out-of-bed” look, it strikes me as a juvenile. I like it!
