Green Sandpiper

The things you find in our area—despite its decidedly urban character. A green sandpiper, right near the heron from the last post. Shy yet noisy, it scurried along the opposite bank of the small body of water, chirping away, before soon flying off. I’m delighted by every new arrival at the renaturalized bend in the Main River; it shows that the concept is working. Biodiversity—here it comes.
