Biarritz Surf I am off for a couple of days. With only one week here, I had not much time to post something usefull – work caught me and on the other hand I was practicing pretty much in the dojo. I got a slight boost from summercamp and enjoyed it.

Despite that a lot of things are about to change right now. Couples breaking up, house improvements with major impact cast their shadows and weather it slowly picking up only to turn bad again, right when I am gone. So perfect time to tip my hat and leave.

As I will spent the forthcomming days camping, I won’t take my good photo equipment with me, but my old Canon with underwater body looks like the right choice. No! This time I won’t make any posting-announcements, as I will not have any computer at my disposal and rather will take my first steps into surfing. So hang loose, haoly!

Budosola – I miss you!

uriBack from Switzerland, I am still struggling with getting back to real life. First two days were the hardest. We drove back on Saturday and arrived in Offenbach early evening. It is strange to spend a week with people you like and admire, booze, party along and have fun around the clock. When I came back home I felt all alone. Poor Nadine – she couldn’t cheer me up either and has to cope with my bad mood. Nothing seems to fit in this whole and there seems to be no cure.

What was so magic about this trip? Well, I still couldn’t figure it out. Probably it was because all party people where there? Maybe the good weather is to blame… or is it because we had so much fun all along the way, or was it the absence of daily routine? Dunno! You should know that I attended this camp for the fourth time now and this one was best. Sad it is over. Tinkering with the feeling of loss, that I can’t grasp, I find myself thinking about dropping out of my job, head back to Eggberge and spend all my time in the dojo. Get up and get adolescent, with all that crappy problems and shut up for now! “Next year”, I keep telling myself, “Next year!”

Just a little post, to let you – who ever reads this blog – know, that I am going to Switzerland tomorrow in order to attend the anual Budocan Sommerlager (Judohaus Eggberge). One week, filled with martial arts practice, beer and last but not least hopefully some sun. If I should find a hotspot there, I will post pics to my photoblog, so staye tuned.
